Be-FORE! and After at the Golf Club

PROBLEM:

Much modified and unplanned electrical system
Like many private clubs, LuLu Temple Country Club in Southhampton, Pennsylvania had had many different people work on its electrical system over the years. The result was a mishmash that didn’t meet current codes. A contractor doing some renovations at the clubhouse was concerned with the situation.

SOLUTION:

A completely integrated and expandable switchboard
The contractor called in Penn Panel for a consultation on ways to handle this problem. A complete replacement of the electrical system was too costly for the club, so Penn Panel proposed a custom solution that would attack the core of the problem. Over time the remaining issues will be corrected.

Codes require that less than six hand motions be required to shut down a facility in case of any emergency. Penn Panel designed and provided a main device that could be shut down in one motion. A custom enclosure in a non-standard size (80" wide, 80" high, 15" deep) was designed to be installed in two pieces to allow access through a very tight space. And the entire project was completed in less than a month to allow installation during the club's shutdown period.
